Water, wilderness, and dogs
Eric is a responsive, thoughtful host, and the space is secluded and beautiful. In early June, there were flowers and wildlife galore. In addition, the river and bluffs were beautiful. He does a great job maintaining trails, as well, so we were able to do a lot of exploring with our dogs. (The dogs slept for about 18 hours after we returned home.) Can't wait to come back next year.

Beautiful and peaceful sitting down by the Root River annd walking along the edge —even the gorgeous photos do not do it justice! The campsite was secluded and well maintained. Well spaced trees for hammocks and also two chairs sitting out for use. Highly recommended!

Eric's Bluff Hollow Camp is wonderful! It is private yet accessible and absolutely beautiful. The property along the Root River is like a storybook and the perfect getaway for those interested in communing with nature. Eric was great at communicating and I found my stay at Buff Hollow exactly as he described. I can't wait to visit again!

Unbeatable privacy
Such a private, well cared for site. We loved staying at the upper site and journeying down to the river when the mood struck us. Saw deer, bald eagles, owls, and a fisher (?) on the cliffs. The dogs loved it and so did we!

INSANELY GORGEOUS!!! Loved camping here & all the fall colors. The land was perfect for our pups to run/explore off leash. Sunrises we’re beautiful against the bluffs. Saw an eagle and a few hawks! Highly highly recommend. Eric was an amazing host.
